Some stories are told out loud. Others live in whispers, in wounds, or in sleepless nights. At Suriel Therapy Co., we know that healing starts when your story is met with safety, attunement, and maybe even a little bit of laughter.
Founded by Tamara Pacheco, LCSW, this practice was built for the feelers, the fighters, and the folks who are tired of pretending they’re fine. I opened this space not just to treat symptoms, but to help people reconnect with their truth, rewrite limiting beliefs, and finally breathe easier.
Whether you're unpacking past trauma, navigating the chaos of anxiety, or simply trying to feel like yourself again—you belong here. Therapy does not have to be sterile or scary. Here, we keep it real, we go deep, and we laugh when we need to. (Sometimes healing looks like ugly crying. Sometimes it looks like a breakthrough in your sweatpants.)
This isn’t just therapy—it’s a turning point.
Working together to treat trauma, anxiety, and depression.
You may have been carrying the weight of too much for too long—overthinking everything, trying to hold it all together while quietly unraveling inside. Whether it is past trauma, relentless anxiety, or the numbing fog of depression, you're ready for real change—not just a Band-Aid.
Through an authentic relationship and effective strategies, real change is achievable. No matter what has you thinking of exploring therapy, I am here to go on this journey with you. If you're open to exploring both the roots and the patterns of what’s holding you back, and you’re craving a space that feels safe, real, & judgment-free, then look no further (unless you feel you need to, then please do!). Bonus points if you appreciate humor and straight talk.
While anxiety and depression are normal emotions all humans experience, we can learn and experience maladaptive versions of these that hold us back from living our lives in an authentic and fulfilling way. Trauma varies from person to person as well. One thing that may impact a person severely may have no impact on another. Trauma can be big or small, a singular event or a life time of re-occurring instances, chaotic or calm. Therapy is a way to identify these moments that change how you perceive and interact in the world and learn to heal and grow despite it.
Reaching out for support is not easy—but you do not have to do it alone. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just ready for things to feel different, I’m here to help. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to work with you.
